I’m obsessed with culture. Whether it’s the books we read, the films we watch, the art we see or the views we hold, I have always been fascinated by the way we think and the effect that has on how we live life and shape society.

I have an academic background in literature, cultural history and philosophy and these days make my living from being a professional writer and artist. This takes the form of running my copywriting and research business, Carington Creative, as well as writing features, articles and opinion for a range of publications in the UK and further afield. I’ve also been a professional artist for many years and continue to explore my practice. Much of my painting is influenced by literature and its landscapes.
